This is a 10″ 4oz slow sinking needlefish. They quickly became a staple on Block Island and surrounding areas and have landed many a big fish.They have a slow to moderate sink rate with the tail downward.Retrieving the plug slowly will glide right under the surface, while twitching the rod tip every 5 or 10 seconds, or let it drop to the bottom and twitch the rod to imitate a sand eel hatching.They also can be used on the surface like a pencil popper.
