D-Compact
Heavy sinking minnow D-Compact, condensing 10 years of know-how
In 2003, Hitoshi Hiramoto created the D-Contact, a heavy sinking minnow that was a completely new concept minnow. Now, after 10 years, he presents the D-Compact.
This is not just a small minnow, but rather a condensed version of the minnow’s many years of development, packed with amazing ease of use and powerful bites.
Features |
Body Design:
The “U”-shaped back places the peak of buoyancy directly above the center of gravity. The flat sides enhance the thumping effect. The thin lip achieves a balance of sharp swimming, water bite, and strength.
Swim, Action:
The 50/50 wobble and roll creates a powerful wave-like swim. This makes it appealing even when simply pulled. The short, short-pitch, fluttering inertial slide induces bites even in the smallest action zones. A hard twitch produces a sharp darting motion that prevents the lure from giving up. The reeling depth (still water) for the D-Compact 45 is 100cm, deeper than the D-Contact and D-Insight. The D-Compact 38 is 60cm.
“Ease of use” and “biting power” that won’t jump out in any situation:
In situations where a lure would normally jump out of the water surface, such as an up twitch in a shallow or fast current, a U-shaped lure in a strong current from the side, or a down twitch in a complex and strong current of boulders, the D-Compact’s lip and body balance make it easy to control and won’t jump out, even in situations where you need to be very careful with line tension and delicate rod operation such as raising or lowering the rod in various situations, and it will make a strong appeal without jumping out.
“Ease of use” and “biting power” make range control easy
. Range control is very important whether shallow or deep. It directly affects the results when combined with the depth of the fish. Furthermore, if you can’t control it, you will lose your precious lure. The important thing is the combination of rod angle, strength of action, and reeling speed. The D-Compact responds obediently to the angler’s intentions.
The light and easy operation makes it “ease of use” and “biting power”.
The swimming motion transmits signals clearly and the weight of 3.5g (D-Compact 45) or 2.5g (D-Compact 38) makes it easy to operate and increases concentration.
