A similar body style like its big brother the Sea Special, but in a smaller, easier to cast package! The flat bottom will help keep this pencil popper upright in rough and swift water. This is an excellent lure to throw when a bigger 3oz Sea Special is just too big, but you still need a long range cast. Mini Sea Specials are 5.5 long and approximately 1.4-1.65oz.

Take note: this Mini Sea Special does not float on the surface like similarly sized pencil poppers. The Mini Sea Special is a bit heavier, and will start to sink as soon as it hits the water. When fishing the Mini Sea Special, anglers must begin their retrieve immediately as the lure hits the water, and continue moving it quickly to keep this plug up on the surface.
