For the marine recreational boating market, also land based activities such as hiking and climbing. The Orange Handsmoke is a hand-held marine distress signal for daytime use to indicate position and wind direction. Produces dense orange smoke for 60 seconds.

Application

Daytime, short range pyrotechnic distress signal, used to pinpoint position and indicate wind direction once potential rescuer is sighted. Ideal for use on yachts, dinghies, RIBs, canoes and is included in our Inshore and Coastal kits.

Operation

1. Point downwind. Unscrew end cap. Hold at arms length.
2. To fire: Pull ball sharply downwards.
3. Hold at arms length, downwind and outboard
