The CB One HRM jigging rod series has been renewed (2024) with a full model change for the first time in 7 years. The action concept remains the same, but they have reviewed the materials and components down to the last detail to achieve a significant weight reduction of approximately -12% in some models.The new design has improved performance in all elements such as power, torque, sensitivity, and operability. The appearance has also greatly evolved with features such as separate grip, un-sanded finish, separate guide wrappings, Fuji T2 titanium guides, and 4-axis carbon reinforcement. The HRM 66/6 is atechnical jig rod with its longer length which allows for more precise jig operation and movement from the angler.
The updated rod blank has combined the best of a super light weight blank with a powerful blank making the process of jigging a breeze! Whether it be used on the reefs in Queensland for reef species or chasing kingfish offshore on the NSW East coast, the rod will surpass expectations.
As a result, an SW5000/6000 will be the ideal reel suitable for the rod with the option of also increasing the reel size to a SW8000 if necessary.
