Built for purpose
A custom balancer can be attached to the reel for the purpose of being of control the centre of gravity for the reel. It is a counter weight for the handle weight which leads to better balance and less wobble. The custom reel balancer is not recommended to be used as a reel stand to prevent reels from getting scratched as the end cap of the balancer is an andonised aluminium, which can be scratched leading to rusting on the inside of the cap. Being a shorter model compared to the standard reel balancer, this model is suitable for smaller reels (1000~2500) for trout, bass, ajing and light estuary fishing.
Type II update
The Type II series of balancers have been designed based off a windmill with 8 interwoven blades. Laser marked to perfection to present a 3D design to give a sharp design.
The Livre Custom Balancer comes with 5 weights and a spring which can be used to adjust the balance of the reel based on how you place them inside the balancer as shown in the photo.
