Description

Anglers using ultra-lightweight Iso rods have sometimes noticed that the rod feels heavy despite the rod weight being very light. This occurs due to the balance of the rod tipping forward which is a common problem with very long rods.

The SLP Works Bottom Balancer Weight Plug is able to fix the feeling of a rod feeling “tip heavy” by adding a counter weight at the very butt of the rod. Although it may seem counter-intuitive, adding more weight to the bottom end of a tip heavy rod will make the rod feel lighter in the hand despite the weight increase. This is especially important for anglers who like to keep their rod in their hands at all times while fishing.
