The LT TYPE- SPOOL has been redesigned to include ATD TYPE-L.
Item Features
Adopts the ATD TYPE-L, which is also installed in the 22EXIST. While retaining the characteristics of the ATD, it further improves the initial drag response of spinning reels, making it possible to land fish in a short time without causing excessive stress to the fish. In addition, the LT5000 spool uses an ATD with a carbon washer, emphasizing high drag durability.
*1000SS to 4000S are equipped with ATD TYPE-L. 5000S is equipped with ATD TOUGH.

Technology
ATD TYPE-L
A new generation drag system that operates smoothly and keeps working smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. For small spinning reels and electric reels, we pursue smooth start and tracking. For large spinning reels such as the Saltiga, we have a setting that suppresses the drop in drag force during the fight. Both were developed with the goal of allowing you to concentrate on the fight without having to worry about the drag setting.
ATD TOUGH
The ATD operates smoothly and keeps working smoothly in response to the pull of the fish. The ATD Tough uses carbon washers to achieve high durability. The drag has been designed to provide smooth start and tracking, allowing you to concentrate on the fight without worrying about the drag setting.
CRBB
The stainless steel BB surface treatment of the ball bearing has significantly improved rust prevention performance. It has excellent rotation performance and rust resistance, and will maintain the initial performance of the reel for longer when used in saltwater.
LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS)
While keeping the idea of reducing contact resistance of ABS II, the contact point has been moved forward to achieve smoother line release. The ring part has been moved forward to make it harder for the line to get caught on the ring, resulting in a 5% increase in distance and trouble-free performance over the conventional ABS II. This is the next generation ABS spool that truly achieves LC (= LONG CAST).
