This is short stick which enable you to fish with jig head around 0.5g3g while getting enough distance to reach the point that fish might be there.
The sharpness of blanks enables you to make jig head move as you wished and you will be able to strike instantaneously as soon as you sensed bite of target.
The flexibility and sensitivity of blanks transmits slightly changes of current, vital information and a sense of existence of jig head.
